Soro, Denmark

Home of my great-great grandfather on my mother's mother's line, John Sorensen (Ruby and Faye's great-grandfather on Grandma Violet's line).

Really a beautiful little town on the water.

I think this little town is the best preserved one that we saw, that is very much like it was in the mid- to late-1800s.

Whoops ... Blogspot has a few bugs in its software.  This is  the little town square.

The town is right on this beasutiful little lake.

Rhubarb 4 feet high!!!  (We stole some ... not really).

One of the town gates.

A surprisingly large and nice cathedral for such a small town.

 The crypt in the cathedral.

Gravemarker in the floor of the cathedral
